Where the standard iron core ballast is a
comparatively rugged induction device with a small capacitive element
(L-C), most electronic ballasts incorporate an inexpensive switch mode
power supply (SMPS) feeding integrated circuits (IC) supplying a small
high frequency transformer. As such, they are much more vulnerable to
power quality aberrations - especially transient voltage/current
surges. These surges degrade sensitive IC components, which will
ultimately lead to ballast failure.

Customer will be invoiced net 180 days ARO. A
digital picture of the installation, showing the SPD and the
lighting panel it is protecting must be e-mailed to
tim@tpscanada.ca
or the installation must be approved by an
International Innovative Systems employee or authorized
distributor. This is to insure proper installation and to maximize
protection.
* Customers must be
pre-qualified by an International Innovative Systems employee or
authorized distributor.
* One unit per customer and or facility.
* Customer will provide 3 pole, 30 amp
breaker as disconnect. (for 120/208v 3ph, 4 wire system)
